| 29 | 29 | | 1 SECTION 1. Chapter 269, of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2014 official edition, |

| 30 | 30 | | 2is hereby amended by adding the following section: |

| 31 | 31 | | 3 Section 14C: Whoever willfully harms, or commits serious bodily injury directly or |
|---|
| 32 | 32 | | 4indirectly to any public employee, public defender, employee of the District Attorney's office, |
|---|
| 33 | 33 | | 5probation officer, or any member of the court system, shall be punished by imprisonment in the |
|---|
| 34 | 34 | | 6state prison for not more than two years or by a fine of not more than two thousand dollars. |
