An Act regarding willful injury to public defenders and other court personnel.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority 
of the same, as follows:
1 SECTION 1. Chapter 269, of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2014 official edition, 
2is hereby amended by adding the following section:
3 Section 14C: Whoever willfully harms, or commits serious bodily injury directly or 
4indirectly to any public employee, public defender, employee of the District Attorney's office, 
5probation officer, or any member of the court system, shall be punished by imprisonment in the 
6state prison for not more than two years or by a fine of not more than two thousand dollars.
