An Act relative to the Auburn Water District clerk and treasurer.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority
of the same, as follows:
1 SECTION 1. The fourth sentence of section 10 of chapter 585 of the acts of 1947, as
2amended by chapter 150 of the acts of 1981, is hereby amended by striking out the words: “elect
3by ballot” and inserting in place thereof the following word:- appoint, by a majority vote at a
4district annual meeting, or at such time as needed.
5 SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
