Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows: 1 SECTION 1. Section 2 of Chapter 111C of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2020 2Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting at the end thereof the following new paragraph:- 3 (17) in situations determined as non-emergency, permit the transportation of patients 4directly to a clinic, as defined in section 52 of chapter 111, including an urgent care center, 5instead of an emergency department.
