2626 An Act relative to motor vehicle excise tax exemptions for 100 percent disabled veterans.
2727 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority
2828 of the same, as follows:
2929 1 SECTION 1. Section 1 of Chapter 60A of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2020
3030 2Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting after the words “permanently disabled;”, in lines
3131 3102 and 103, the following:-
3232 4 “nor to a motor vehicle owned and registered by or leased to a veteran, as defined in
3333 5section 7 of chapter 4, who according to the records of the United States Veterans
3434 6Administration, by reason of service in the armed forces of the United States, has been declared
3535 7100 percent disabled and has been issued a disabled parking placard by the Massachusetts
3636 8Registry of Motor Vehicles;”
