An Act relative to motor vehicle excise tax exemptions for 100 percent disabled veterans.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority 
of the same, as follows:
1 SECTION 1. Section 1 of Chapter 60A of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2020 
2Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting after the words “permanently disabled;”, in lines 
3102 and 103, the following:- 
4 “nor to a motor vehicle owned and registered by or leased to a veteran, as defined in 
5section 7 of chapter 4, who according to the records of the United States Veterans 
6Administration, by reason of service in the armed forces of the United States, has been declared 
7100 percent disabled and has been issued a disabled parking placard by the Massachusetts 
8Registry of Motor Vehicles;”
