2626 An Act to promote high-impact community investment.
2727 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority
2828 of the same, as follows:
2929 1 SECTION 1: Section 38EE of Chapter 63 is hereby amended by deleting section 38EE(i)
3030 2and replacing it with a new Section EE(i) that says (i) The department shall authorize the tax
3131 3credits under this section. The total value of the tax credits authorized in this section, together
3232 4with those authorized in section 6M of chapter 62, shall not exceed $12,000,000 taxable years
3333 52023 and 2024; and shall not exceed $15,000,000 in taxable year 2025 and thereafter.
3434 6 SECTION 2: Section 6M of Chapter 62 is hereby amended by deleting section 6M(i) and
3535 7replacing it with a new Section 6M(i) that says (i) The department shall authorize the tax credits
3636 8under this section. The total value of the tax credits authorized in this section, together with those
3737 9authorized in Section 38EE of Chapter 63, shall not exceed $12,000,000 taxable years 2023 and
3838 102024; and shall not exceed $15,000,000 in taxable year 2025 and thereafter.
