An Act to promote high-impact community investment.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority 
of the same, as follows:
1 SECTION 1: Section 38EE of Chapter 63 is hereby amended by deleting section 38EE(i) 
2and replacing it with a new Section EE(i) that says (i) The department shall authorize the tax 
3credits under this section. The total value of the tax credits authorized in this section, together 
4with those authorized in section 6M of chapter 62, shall not exceed $12,000,000 taxable years 
52023 and 2024; and shall not exceed $15,000,000 in taxable year 2025 and thereafter.
6 SECTION 2: Section 6M of Chapter 62 is hereby amended by deleting section 6M(i) and 
7replacing it with a new Section 6M(i) that says (i) The department shall authorize the tax credits 
8under this section. The total value of the tax credits authorized in this section, together with those 
9authorized in Section 38EE of Chapter 63, shall not exceed $12,000,000 taxable years 2023 and 
102024; and shall not exceed $15,000,000 in taxable year 2025 and thereafter.
