| 30 | 30 | | 1 SECTION 1. Section 2 of chapter 60B of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2018 |

| 31 | 31 | | 2Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting after the word "forty" in line 61 the following |

| 32 | 32 | | 3sentence:- |

| 33 | 33 | | 4 A city or town may change the per cent of said excise that is credited to its municipal |

| 34 | 34 | | 5waterways improvement and maintenance fund by a vote of its legislative body; provided, |
|---|
| 35 | 35 | | 6however, that a legislative body shall not decrease the excise credited to its municipal waterways |
|---|
| 36 | 36 | | 7improvement and maintenance fund below fifty per cent. |
