An Act relative to minority participation goals in exclusive contracts.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority
of the same, as follows:
1 Chapter 149 of the General Laws is hereby amended by adding the following section:-
2 Section 204. An exclusive contract to which the commonwealth, a county or a
3municipality is a party shall contain a 30 per cent minority participation goal for sub-contractors
4hired by the exclusive contract to provide services.
5 The commissioner shall promulgate regulations for minority participation goals
6established under this section.
