| 27 | 27 | | Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority |
|---|
| 28 | 28 | | of the same, as follows: |
|---|
| 29 | 29 | | 1 SECTION 1. Section 1 of Chapter 90 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2020 |
|---|
| 30 | 30 | | 2Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting after the definition of “Bus or motor bus” the |
|---|
| 31 | 31 | | 3following new definition:- “Careless driving”, a person who drives a vehicle carelessly, or |
|---|
| 32 | 32 | | 4without due caution and circumspection, in a manner so as to endanger, or be likely to endanger, |
|---|
| 33 | 33 | | 5a person or property. |
|---|
| 34 | 34 | | 6 SECTION 2. Said chapter is hereby amended by adding the following new section at the |

| 35 | 35 | | 7end thereof:- |

| 36 | 36 | | 8 Section 64: Citation Parity |
|---|
| 37 | 37 | | 9 The registrar shall provide parity with out of state citations processed in Massachusetts |
|---|
| 38 | 38 | | 10including, but not limited to, careless driving citations, speeding citations, and expired |
|---|
| 39 | 39 | | 11registration citations. |
