| 31 | 31 | | 1 SECTION 1. Chapter 90 of the General Laws as appearing in the 2020 Official Edition is |

| 32 | 32 | | 2hereby amended by inserting after Section 10 the following section:- |

| 33 | 33 | | 3 Section 10A. “No person who is operating a motor vehicle on an expired license shall be |

| 34 | 34 | | 4in violation of section 10 of this chapter, however, a person who operates a motor vehicle on an |

| 35 | 35 | | 5expired license shall be responsible for a civil violation with a fine of fifty dollars ($50.00), if the |
|---|
| 36 | 36 | | 6expiration is less than ninety days old, and one hundred dollars ($100.00) if such expiration is |
|---|
| 37 | 37 | | 7ninety days or greater.” |
