Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows: 1 SECTION 1. Chapter 90 of the General Laws as appearing in the 2020 Official Edition is 2hereby amended by inserting after Section 10 the following section:- 3 Section 10A. “No person who is operating a motor vehicle on an expired license shall be 4in violation of section 10 of this chapter, however, a person who operates a motor vehicle on an 5expired license shall be responsible for a civil violation with a fine of fifty dollars ($50.00), if the 6expiration is less than ninety days old, and one hundred dollars ($100.00) if such expiration is 7ninety days or greater.”
