[SIMILAR MATTER FILED IN PREVIOUS SESSION SEE HOUSE, NO. 3668 OF 2021-2022.] The Commonwealth of Massachusetts _______________ In the One Hundred and Ninety-Third General Court (2023-2024) _______________ An Act increasing annuity for disabled veterans and gold star families. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows: 1 Section 6b of chapter 115 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2022 Official Edition, 2is hereby amended by striking out the word in paragraph 2, “$2,000” and inserting in place 3thereof the word: “$3,000”. 4 Section 6b of chapter 115 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2022 Official Edition, 5is hereby further amended by striking out the words in paragraph 3, “provided, that the surviving 6spouse does not remarry.” 7 Section 6b of chapter 115 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2022 Official Edition 8is hereby further amended by striking out the word in line 3 of paragraph 3, “ $2,000” and 9inserting in place thereof the word: “$3,000”.
