2727 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority
2828 of the same, as follows:
2929 1 SECTION 1. Notwithstanding section 10 of chapter 70B of the General Laws, or any
3030 2other general or special law or regulation to the contrary, the Massachusetts school building
3131 3authority shall reimburse the city of Lowell $38.5 million its high school renovation project
3232 4construction costs, to compensate for cost overruns resulting from increased supply chain costs
3333 5related to the COVID-19 pandemic.
3434 6 SECTION 2. The grant required by section 1 shall not count towards the total limit on the
3535 7estimated amount of grants approved by the Massachusetts school building authority pursuant to
3636 8section 7 of chapter 70B of the General Laws.
