29 | 29 | | 1 Section 1. Section 133 of Chapter 164 of the General Laws as appearing in the 2020 |

30 | 30 | | 2Official Edition is hereby amended by adding in the third paragraph at line 12 after the words |

31 | 31 | | 3“plant.” The following sentence: |

32 | 32 | | 4 “Any municipal lighting plant providing emergency mutual aid may sell, rent, or lease |

33 | 33 | | 5equipment, fixtures, and goods of any description related to the provision of emergency mutual |

35 | 35 | | 7 And said section is further amended by adding after the fifth paragraph the following |

37 | 37 | | 9 “Any employee of a municipal lighting plant providing emergency mutual aid, shall be |

38 | 38 | | 10covered by the provisions of chapter thirty-two, sections one to twenty-eight, inclusive, as may |

39 | 39 | | 11be amended from time to time, and shall have the same rights and privileges thereunder, as if 2 of 2 |

40 | 40 | | 12performing such duties within the scope of his employment including voluntary assignments |
