restrictions for motor vehicles on roadways within 500 yards of quarries or gravel pits.

An Act relative to commercial traffic on a certain road in Chelmsford.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority
of the same, as follows:
1 Chapter 90 of the General Laws is hereby amended by inserting after section 18B the
2following section:-
3 Section 18C. A municipality may, by vote of the board of selectmen, select board, town
4council or city council, establish height and weight restrictions for motor vehicles, as defined in
5section 1 of chapter 90, on any portion of a roadway in the municipality within 500 yards of a
6quarry or gravel pit.
