Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows: 1 SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, Kenneth 2Ouimette, a member of the police department of the town of Conway, may continue in his 3position until he reaches 70 years of age, the date of his retirement or until his non- 4reappointment, whichever first occurs; provided, however, that deductions from the regular 5compensation of Kenneth Ouimette shall not be made under chapter 32 of the General Laws for 6any service subsequent to his reaching age 65 in connection with his service to the town for 7retirement or pension purposes, or take any action relative thereto. 8 SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
