The Commonwealth of Massachusetts _______________ In the One Hundred and Ninety-Third General Court (2023-2024) _______________ An Act relative to community college tuition for graduates of Brockton public schools. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows: 1 Chapter 15A of the General Laws is hereby amended by adding the following section:- 2 Section 48. Each student who has graduated from a high school within the Brockton 3public school district shall be entitled, upon enrollment in at least 1 class at Massasoit 4Community College, to a full waiver for charges due for tuition and mandatory fees during the 5period of enrollment. 6 Consistent with the provisions of this section, the board may establish general guidelines 7and regulations for the application and administration of waiver benefits at Massasoit 8Community College.
