| 30 | 30 | | Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority |
|---|
| 31 | 31 | | of the same, as follows: |
|---|
| 32 | 32 | | 1 Notwithstanding any general or special law, rule, or regulation to the contrary, the |
|---|
| 33 | 33 | | 2Massachusetts Teachers’ Retirement System shall credit Abby Levin, a member of the |
|---|
| 34 | 34 | | 3Massachusetts’s Teachers’ Retirement System, with one year of creditable service for her work |
|---|
| 35 | 35 | | 4at the Northampton Center for Children and Families during the 1979-1980 school year, for the |
|---|
| 36 | 36 | | 5purpose of determining her superannuation retirement allowance pursuant to paragraph (a) of |
|---|
| 37 | 37 | | 6subdivision (2) of section 5 of chapter 32 of the General Laws. Before the date that any |
|---|
| 38 | 38 | | 7retirement allowance becomes effective in the case of Abby Levin, she shall pay into the annuity |
|---|
| 39 | 39 | | 8savings fund of the Massachusetts Teachers’ Retirement System in one (1) sum or installments, |
|---|
| 40 | 40 | | 9upon such terms and conditions as the board may prescribe, an amount equal to that which would |
|---|
| 41 | 41 | | 10have been withheld as regular deductions from her regular compensation for such previous |
|---|
| 42 | 42 | | 11service, plus buyback interest. |
