| 30 | 30 | | Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority |
|---|
| 31 | 31 | | of the same, as follows: |
|---|
| 32 | 32 | | 1 SECTION 1. Notwithstanding Section 5 of Chapter 59 of the general laws or any general |
|---|
| 33 | 33 | | 2or special law to the contrary, the Board of Assessors of the Town of Shrewsbury shall grant |
|---|
| 34 | 34 | | 3abatement of the real estate taxes assessed for tax years 2024 through 2036, inclusive, upon real |
|---|
| 35 | 35 | | 4property that is (i) the domicile of Ava Roy, the surviving daughter of Christopher Roy, a |
|---|
| 36 | 36 | | 5firefighter killed in the line of duty; and (ii) owned by and occupied as the domicile of the |
|---|
| 37 | 37 | | 6guardian, trustee, conservator, adoptive parent or other fiduciary for Ava Roy. |
|---|
| 38 | 38 | | 7 SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage. |
