| 30 | 30 | | Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority |
|---|
| 31 | 31 | | of the same, as follows: |
|---|
| 32 | 32 | | 1 SECTION 1. Notwithstanding chapter 31 of the General Laws or any other general or |
|---|
| 33 | 33 | | 2special law regulating the maximum age of applicants for appointment as firefighter to the |
|---|
| 34 | 34 | | 3contrary, Joanne Ricardelli, a resident of the town of Wilmington, shall be eligible to have her |
|---|
| 35 | 35 | | 4name certified for original appointment to the position of firefighter in the town of Wilmington, |
|---|
| 36 | 36 | | 5notwithstanding her having exceeded the maximum age before taking the civil service |
|---|
| 37 | 37 | | 6examination in connection with that appointment. Joanne Ricardelli shall be eligible for |
|---|
| 38 | 38 | | 7appointment to the position of firefighter in the town of Wilmington if she meets all other |
|---|
| 39 | 39 | | 8requirements for certification and appointment to this position. This section shall apply to the |
|---|
| 40 | 40 | | 92022 and 2023 civil service firefighter examinations. |
|---|
| 41 | 41 | | 10 SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage. |
