An Act to limit fees charged in a rental real estate transaction.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority 
of the same, as follows:
1 Section 87DDD½ of chapter 112, of the General Laws is hereby amended by adding the 
2following sentence:- No licensed broker or salesperson shall charge a tenant a fee for services 
3relating to finding a dwelling accommodation or for any other service unless the tenant has 
4sought out and hired that broker or salesperson to provide the tenant with such services.
