An Act amending the act establishing a charter for the town of Wrentham.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority
of the same, as follows:
1 SECTION 1. Section 1.3 of article I of the Wrentham home rule charter, as appearing in
2section 1 of chapter 116 of the acts of 2014, is hereby amended by striking out subsection (c) and
3inserting in place thereof the following subsection:-
4 (c) “Select board”, the duly elected select board for the town of Wrentham.
5 SECTION 2. Subsection (bb) of said section 1.3 of said article I of said charter, as so
6appearing, is hereby amended by striking out the words “board of selectmen” and inserting in
7place thereof the following words:- select board.
8 SECTION 3. Section 1.5 of said article I of said charter, as so appearing, is hereby
9amended by striking out the words “board of selectmen” and inserting in place thereof the
10following words:- select board. 2 of 5
11 SECTION 4. Section 2.3 of article II of said charter, as so appearing, is hereby amended
12by striking out the words “board of selectmen” and inserting in place thereof the following
13words:- select board.
14 SECTION 5. Section 2.5 of said article II of said charter, as so appearing, is hereby
15amended by striking out the words “board of selectmen” and inserting in place thereof the
16following words:- select board.
17 SECTION 6. Section 2.6 of said article II of said charter, as so appearing, is hereby
18amended by striking out the words “board of selectmen” and inserting in place thereof the
19following words:- select board.
20 SECTION 7. Section 2.7 of said article II of said charter, as so appearing, is hereby
21amended by striking out the words “board of selectmen”, each time they appear, and inserting in
22place thereof, in each instance, the following words:- select board.
23 SECTION 8. Section 3.1 of article III of said charter, as so appearing, is hereby amended
24by striking out the words “board of selectmen”, each time they appear, and inserting in place
25thereof, in each instance, the following words:- select board.
26 SECTION 9. Section 3.2 of said article III of said charter, as so appearing, is hereby
27amended by striking out the title and inserting in place thereof the following title:- SELECT
28BOARD.
29 SECTION 10. Said section 3.2 of said article III of said charter, as so appearing, is
30hereby further amended by striking out the words “board of selectmen”, each time they appear,
31and inserting in place thereof, in each instance, the following words:- select board. 3 of 5
32 SECTION 11. Subsection (c) of section 3.3 of said article III of said charter, as so
33appearing, is hereby amended by striking out the words “board of selectmen” and inserting in
34place thereof the following words:- select board.
35 SECTION 12. Subsection (b) of section 3.9 of said article III of said charter, as so
36appearing, is hereby amended by striking out the words “board of selectmen” and inserting in
37place thereof the following words:- select board.
38 SECTION 13. Section 4.1 of article IV of said charter, as so appearing, is hereby
39amended by striking out the words “board of selectmen”, each time they appear, and inserting in
40place thereof, in each instance, the following words:- select board.
41 SECTION 14. Section 4.2 of said article IV of said charter, as so appearing, is hereby
42amended by striking out the words “board of selectmen”, each time they appear, and inserting in
43place thereof, in each instance, the following words:- select board.
44 SECTION 15. Section 4.3 of said article IV of said charter, as so appearing, is hereby
45amended by striking out the words “board of selectmen”, each time they appear, and inserting in
46place thereof, in each instance, the following words:- select board.
47 SECTION 16. Section 4.4 of said article IV of said charter, as so appearing, is hereby
48amended by striking out the words “board of selectmen”, each time they appear, and inserting in

58place thereof the following words:- select board.
59 SECTION 20. Subsection (d) of section 5.8 of said article V of said charter, as so
60appearing, is hereby amended by striking out the words “board of selectmen”, each time they
61appear, and inserting in place thereof, in each instance, the following words:- select board.
62 SECTION 21. Subsection (c) of section 5.9 of said article V of said charter, as so
63appearing, is hereby amended by striking out the words “board of selectmen” and inserting in
64place thereof the following words:- select board.
65 SECTION 22. Section 5.12 of said article V of said charter, as so appearing, is hereby
66amended by striking out the words “board of selectmen”, each time they appear, and inserting in
67place thereof, in each instance, the following words:- select board.
68 SECTION 23. Section 6.1 of article VI of said charter, as so appearing, is hereby
69amended by striking out the words “board of selectmen”, each time they appear, and inserting in
70place thereof, in each instance, the following words:- select board.
71 SECTION 24. Subsection (d) of section 6.2 of said article VI of said charter, as so
72appearing, is hereby amended by striking out the words “board of selectmen”, each time they

81 SECTION 27. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
