The committee on Public Health, to whom were referred the petition 
(accompanied by bill, House, No. 2181) of Colleen M. Garry and Kelly 
W. Pease relative to the health of mothers and born alive fetuses after the 
second trimester, and the petition (accompanied by bill, House, No. 2277) 
of Alyson M. Sullivan-Almeida and others relative to unborn victims of 
Down Syndrome, reports the accompanying order (House, No. 4111) 
ought to be adopted.

1 Ordered, That the committee on Public Health be authorized to sit during a recess of the 
2General Court to make an investigation and study of House documents numbered 2181 and 
32277, relative to unborn victims of Down Syndrome and the health of mothers and born alive 
4fetuses after the second trimester.
5 Said committee shall report to the General Court the results of its investigation and study 
6and its recommendations, if any, together with drafts of legislation necessary to carry such 
7recommendations into effect, by filing the same with the Clerk of the House of Representatives 
8on or before December 31, 2024.
