| 33 | 33 | | 1 SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any general or special law or rule or regulation to the |

| 34 | 34 | | 2contrary regulating the maximum age of applicants for appointment as firefighter, Brandon |

| 35 | 35 | | 3Fredette of the City of Haverhill, shall be eligible for appointment to the position of firefighter in |
|---|
| 36 | 36 | | 4the City if he meets all other requirements, in which case he shall be eligible for certification and |
|---|
| 37 | 37 | | 5appointment to the fire department of the City of Haverhill. To be effective for the 2023 |
