1919 An Act requiring menstrual products in buildings on public higher education campuses.
2020 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority
2121 of the same, as follows:
2222 1 Chapter 15A of the General Laws is hereby amended by inserting after section 27 the
2323 2following section:-
2424 3 Section 27A. Subject to appropriation each public institution of higher education shall
2525 4provide disposable menstrual products to menstruating individuals in the restrooms of any such
2626 5institution’s building at no cost. The disposable menstrual products shall be available in a
2727 6convenient manner that does not stigmatize the individual seeking such products. For the
2828 7purposes of this section “disposable menstrual products” shall mean products including, but not
2929 8limited to, tampons, sanitary napkins, and underwear liners.
