No. 4267 The Commonwealth of Massachusetts _______________ In the One Hundred and Ninety-Third General Court (2023-2024) _______________ An Act requiring menstrual products in buildings on public higher education campuses. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows: 1 Chapter 15A of the General Laws is hereby amended by inserting after section 27 the 2following section:- 3 Section 27A. Subject to appropriation each public institution of higher education shall 4provide disposable menstrual products to menstruating individuals in the restrooms of any such 5institution’s building at no cost. The disposable menstrual products shall be available in a 6convenient manner that does not stigmatize the individual seeking such products. For the 7purposes of this section “disposable menstrual products” shall mean products including, but not 8limited to, tampons, sanitary napkins, and underwear liners.
