| 31 | 31 | | of the same, as follows: |

| 32 | 32 | | 1 Section 1. Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, including the |

| 33 | 33 | | 2provisions of Section 58A of Chapter 31 of the General Laws, the Town of Burlington Fire |
|---|
| 34 | 34 | | 3Department shall waive the maximum age requirement for original appointment of firefighters |
|---|
| 35 | 35 | | 4for Ryan DeCoste. If Ryan DeCoste meets all other requirements set forth by the Burlington Fire |
|---|
| 36 | 36 | | 5Department, he shall be eligible to have his name certified for original appointment to the |
|---|
| 37 | 37 | | 6position of firefighter. |

| 38 | 38 | | 7 Section 2. The provisions of this act shall take effect immediately upon passage. |
