| 28 | 28 | | Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority |
|---|
| 29 | 29 | | of the same, as follows: |

| 30 | 30 | | 1 SECTION 1. Notwithstanding chapter 32 of the General Laws or any other general or |
|---|
| 31 | 31 | | 2special law to the contrary, the Worcester regional retirement board shall credit Curtis Meskus, a |
|---|
| 32 | 32 | | 3member of the Worcester regional retirement system, with creditable service for 4 years of active |
|---|
| 33 | 33 | | 4duty service with the United States Air Force, pursuant to paragraph (h) of subdivision (1) of |
|---|
| 34 | 34 | | 5section 4 of chapter 32 of the General Laws, for the purpose of determining his superannuation |
|---|
| 35 | 35 | | 6retirement allowance. The retirement system shall confirm exact dates of Curtis Meskus’ military |
|---|
| 36 | 36 | | 7service. |
|---|
| 37 | 37 | | 8 SECTION 2. Eligibility for this creditable service shall be conditioned upon payment by |
|---|
| 38 | 38 | | 9Curtis Meskus to the Worcester regional retirement system, in an amount equal to that which |
|---|
| 39 | 39 | | 10would have been withheld as regular deductions from his regular compensation for such previous |
|---|
| 40 | 40 | | 11service, in 1 lump sum or installments, as the Worcester regional retirement board shall |
|---|
