14 | 14 | | Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority |

15 | 15 | | of the same, as follows: |

16 | 16 | | 1 SECTION 1. Pursuant to article 97 of the amendments to the constitution of the |
---|
17 | 17 | | 2commonwealth and notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, the town of |
---|
18 | 18 | | 3Nantucket may transfer, sell, convey or otherwise dispose of all or a portion of a certain parcel of |
---|
19 | 19 | | 4land, consisting of 5.74 acres more or less, located at 50 Altar Rock road in the town of |
---|
20 | 20 | | 5Nantucket that was acquired by the town for park purposes to the Nantucket Conservation |
---|
21 | 21 | | 6Foundation, Inc. for open space, recreational and conservation purposes, to be on any terms and |
---|
22 | 22 | | 7conditions the select board deems appropriate, which may include the reservation of any |
---|
23 | 23 | | 8easements and restrictions in regard to the property. The parcel is shown as parcel 9 on the |
---|
24 | 24 | | 9Nantucket assessor’s map 45 and recorded as certificate number 1423 in the Nantucket registry |
---|
25 | 25 | | 10district of the land court. Any such disposition shall be on such terms and conditions as the select |
---|
26 | 26 | | 11board deems appropriate, which may include the reservation of restrictions and easements and |
---|
27 | 27 | | 12acceptance of the conveyance of certain land from the Nantucket Conservation Foundation, Inc. 2 of 2 |

28 | 28 | | 13to satisfy the executive office of energy and environmental affairs no net loss policy as |
---|
29 | 29 | | 14determined by the select board, all as shown on a map entitled “2022 Annual Town Meeting |

30 | 30 | | 15Warrant Articles 93 + 94 Real Estate Conveyance: 50 Altar Rock Road (to Nantucket |
