30 | 30 | | Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority |
---|
31 | 31 | | of the same, as follows: |
---|
32 | 32 | | 1 Section 1. Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, Kenneth M. |
---|
33 | 33 | | 2Antanavica, Police Chief of the town of Leicester, may continue to serve in the position of Police |
---|
34 | 34 | | 3Chief until April 30, 2027, or until the date of his retirement, non-reappointment, or the date he |
---|
35 | 35 | | 4is relieved of his duties by the town, whichever occurs first; provided, however, that he is |
---|
36 | 36 | | 5mentally and physically capable of performing the duties of his office. No further deductions |
---|
37 | 37 | | 6shall be made from the regular compensation of Kenneth M. Antanavica under Chapter 32 of the |
---|
38 | 38 | | 7General Laws for any service subsequent to April 30, 2025, and upon retirement, he shall receive |
---|
39 | 39 | | 8a superannuation retirement allowance equal to that which he would have been entitled had he |
---|
40 | 40 | | 9retired on that date. |
---|
41 | 41 | | 10 Section 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage. |
