relative to authorizing an extended term of agreement between the town of Foxborough and the 
town of Sharon for municipal sewer service. Municipalities and Regional Government.

An Act authorizing an extended term of agreement between the town of Foxborough and the 
town of Sharon for municipal sewer service.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority 
of the same, as follows:
1 Section 1. Notwithstanding section 4A of chapter 40 or section 1 of chapter 83 of the 
2General Laws, or any other general or special law to the contrary, the Town of Foxborough and 
3the Town of Sharon, acting by or through their select boards, are authorized to amend the 
4agreement dated Augst 1, 2023, between the towns of Foxborough and Sharon relative to the 
5providing of municipal sewer service in Sharon, and extended the term of the agreement to a 
6term not more than 99 years.
7 Section 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
