| 29 | 29 | | Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority |
|---|
| 30 | 30 | | of the same, as follows: |
|---|
| 31 | 31 | | 1 SECTION 1. (a) Notwithstanding section 17 of chapter 138 of the General Laws, the |
|---|
| 32 | 32 | | 2licensing authority of the town of Sherborn may convert 1 license for the sale of wine and malt |
|---|
| 33 | 33 | | 3beverages not to be drunk on the premises pursuant to section 15 of said chapter 138 issued to |
|---|
| 34 | 34 | | 4Art's Specialties at 11 South Main Street in the town of Sherborn to a license for the sale of all |
|---|
| 35 | 35 | | 5alcoholic beverages not to be drunk on the premises pursuant to said section 15 of said chapter |
|---|
| 36 | 36 | | 6138 to Art's Specialties at 11 South Main Street in the town of Sherborn. The license shall be |
|---|
| 37 | 37 | | 7subject to all of said chapter 138 except said section 17. |
|---|
| 38 | 38 | | 8 (b) If the license converted under this section is cancelled, revoked or no longer in use at |
|---|
| 39 | 39 | | 9the location of original issuance, it shall be returned physically, with all of the legal rights, |

| 40 | 40 | | 10privileges and restrictions pertaining thereto, to the licensing authority and the licensing 2 of 2 |

| 41 | 41 | | 11authority may then grant the license to a new applicant and under the same conditions as |
|---|
| 42 | 42 | | 12specified in this act. |

| 43 | 43 | | 13 (c) A license converted under this act shall be converted within 1 year after the effective |

| 44 | 44 | | 14date of this act; provided, however, that a license originally converted within that time period |
|---|
| 45 | 45 | | 15may be granted to a new applicant under subsection (b) or (c) any time thereafter. |
|---|
| 46 | 46 | | 16 SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage. |
