2626 An Act to eliminate the use of the mcas for high school graduation.
2727 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority
2828 of the same, as follows:
2929 1 Section 1D of chapter 69 of the General Laws, is hereby amended by inserting after the
3030 2word “graduation”, in line 64, the following words:- ; provided, however, that the Massachusetts
3131 3comprehensive assessment system test or other state-developed, standardized test shall not be a
3232 4component of the competency determination.
