Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows: 1 SECTION 1. Notwithstanding Chapter 32, Sections 65C and 65D, or any other general or 2 special law to the contrary, Mary McCabe is authorized to name her daughter Anna 3 McCabe as her survivor beneficiary, in lieu of a spouse, pursuant to section 65C or 65D 4 of chapter 32. 5 SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage, and shall apply retroactively as 6 of October 29, 2023.
