| 32 | 32 | | 1 SECTION 1. The pedestrian overpass spanning route 18 in the city of New Bedford, |

| 33 | 33 | | 2constructed pursuant to MBTA contract number K78CN06 as part of the South Coast Rail |

| 34 | 34 | | 3project, in the vicinity of 618 Acushnet Avenue, shall be designated and known as the Andre |

| 35 | 35 | | 4Lopes Korean War Veteran Overpass, in memory of Andre Lopes, who died as a result of |
|---|
| 36 | 36 | | 5injuries incurred while a member of the armed forces of the United States during the Korean |
|---|
| 37 | 37 | | 6Conflict. The Massachusetts Department of Transportation or its successor shall erect and |

| 38 | 38 | | 7maintain suitable markers bearing that designation in compliance with the standards of the |
