| 29 | 29 | | Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority |
|---|
| 30 | 30 | | of the same, as follows: |

| 31 | 31 | | 1 SECTION 1. (a) Notwithstanding the provisions of Chapter 34B, Section 19 (g) or |
|---|
| 32 | 32 | | 2Chapter 30A, Section 18 of the Massachusetts General Laws or of any other general or special |
|---|
| 33 | 33 | | 3law to the contrary or the provisions of any regulation to the contrary, a quorum of the Worcester |
|---|
| 34 | 34 | | 4Regional Retirement System Board Advisory Council shall be seventeen (17) members, provided |
|---|
| 35 | 35 | | 5that said quorum shall include the Chairman of the Worcester Regional Retirement System |
|---|
| 36 | 36 | | 6Board and the Chairman of the Worcester Regional Retirement System Board Advisory Council, |
|---|
| 37 | 37 | | 7or, with respect to both bodies, the Acting Chairman in the absence of the Chairman, or in the |
|---|
| 38 | 38 | | 8event of the inability of the Chairman to participate in a meeting, or in the event of a vacancy in |
|---|
| 39 | 39 | | 9the position of Chairman. |

| 40 | 40 | | 10 (b) For the purposes of this act, "Worcester Regional Retirement System Board" and |

| 41 | 41 | | 11"Worcester Regional Retirement System Board Advisory Council" shall mean those positions as |

| 42 | 42 | | 12defined in Chapter 34B, Section 19 (b) and (g) of the Massachusetts General Laws. 2 of 2 |
