| 30 | 30 | | Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority |
|---|
| 31 | 31 | | of the same, as follows: |
|---|
| 32 | 32 | | 1 SECTION 1. (a) Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, the Dudley- |
|---|
| 33 | 33 | | 2Charlton regional school district may: |
|---|
| 34 | 34 | | 3 (i) convey to the town of Charlton, for nominal and non-monetary consideration, a fee |
|---|
| 35 | 35 | | 4interest in approximately 1.494 acres of land situated on Oxford road in the town of Charlton, |
|---|
| 36 | 36 | | 5shown as Lot 1 on a plan recorded with the Worcester registry of deeds in plan book 979, plan |
|---|
| 37 | 37 | | 611, currently held by the school district for school purposes; and |
|---|
| 38 | 38 | | 7 (ii) enter into agreements with the town of Charlton and convey to the town of Charlton, |
|---|
| 39 | 39 | | 8for nominal and non-monetary consideration, drainage and access easements and rights in land |
|---|
| 40 | 40 | | 9situated on Oxford road in the town of Charlton, which adjoin the parcel to be conveyed to the |
|---|
| 41 | 41 | | 10town of Charlton and which are owned by the Dudley-Charlton regional school district. 2 of 2 |

| 42 | 42 | | 11 (b) All conveyances and agreements pursuant to subsection (a) shall be on such terms and |

| 43 | 43 | | 12conditions as the school committee for the Dudley-Charlton regional school district deems |

| 44 | 44 | | 13appropriate, which may include the reservation of restrictions, rights and easements. |

| 45 | 45 | | 14 SECTION 2. Chapter 30B of the General Laws shall not apply to any conveyance |
|---|
| 46 | 46 | | 15pursuant to section 1. |

| 47 | 47 | | 16 SECTION 3. This act shall take effect upon its passage. |
