By Representatives Marsi of Dudley and Frost of Auburn, a petition (subject to Joint Rule 12) of 
John J. Marsi, Paul K. Frost and Ryan C. Fattman that the Dudley-Charlton Regional School 
District be authorized to convey certain land to the town of Charlton. Municipalities and 
Regional Government.

An Act authorizing the Dudley-Charlton Regional School District to convey certain land to the 
town of Charlton.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority 
of the same, as follows:
1 SECTION 1. (a) Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, the Dudley-
2Charlton regional school district may:
3 (i) convey to the town of Charlton, for nominal and non-monetary consideration, a fee 
4interest in approximately 1.494 acres of land situated on Oxford road in the town of Charlton, 
5shown as Lot 1 on a plan recorded with the Worcester registry of deeds in plan book 979, plan 
611, currently held by the school district for school purposes; and
7 (ii) enter into agreements with the town of Charlton and convey to the town of Charlton, 
8for nominal and non-monetary consideration, drainage and access easements and rights in land 
9situated on Oxford road in the town of Charlton, which adjoin the parcel to be conveyed to the 
10town of Charlton and which are owned by the Dudley-Charlton regional school district. 2 of 2
11 (b) All conveyances and agreements pursuant to subsection (a) shall be on such terms and 
12conditions as the school committee for the Dudley-Charlton regional school district deems 
13appropriate, which may include the reservation of restrictions, rights and easements.
14 SECTION 2. Chapter 30B of the General Laws shall not apply to any conveyance 
15pursuant to section 1.
16 SECTION 3. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
