[SIMILAR MATTER FILED IN PREVIOUS SESSION SEE HOUSE, NO. 722 OF 2021-2022.] The Commonwealth of Massachusetts _______________ In the One Hundred and Ninety-Third General Court (2023-2024) _______________ An Act relative to early-onset Alzheimer's disease. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows: 1 SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any General or special law to the contrary, services 2provided through the MassHealth Frail Elder Home and Community-Based Services Waiver 3shall be made available to persons diagnosed with early-onset Alzheimer’s disease regardless of 4their age, if they are otherwise eligible for such services. The Secretary for Health and Human 5Services shall ensure that the relevant agencies under her purview promulgate regulations as 6necessary to implement this act.
