2727 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority
2828 of the same, as follows:
2929 1 Chapter 119 of the General Laws is hereby amended by inserting after section 33C the
3030 2following new section:-
3131 3 INSURANCE LIABILITY FOR FOSTER CARE PROVIDERS.
3232 4 Providers of foster care services for children and/or youth contracted by the state’s
3333 5Department of Children and Families shall not be held liable for injury to persons or damage to
3434 6property caused by negligence or other action(s) or inaction(s) of the state or its employees or
3535 7other third parties.
