2727 An Act relative to compliance with the fair minimum wage.
2828 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority
2929 of the same, as follows:
3030 1 SECTION 1. Section 16 of chapter 151 is hereby amended by adding the following
3131 2paragraph:-
3232 3 Employers subject to a minimum fair wage order under this chapter shall provide each
3333 4employee receiving a salary with an hourly equivalent comparison of the employee’s salary and
3434 5the minimum fair wage under chapter 151. The comparison shall be in written form and shall
3535 6accompany each payment made to employee. If the hourly salary amount is less than the
3636 7minimum fair wage, the employer may be subject to sections 19 and 20 of this chapter.
