| 27 | 27 | | Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority |
|---|
| 28 | 28 | | of the same, as follows: |

| 29 | 29 | | 1 SECTION 1. The charter of the town of Marshfield, which is on file in the office of the |
|---|
| 30 | 30 | | 2archivist of the commonwealth, as provided in section 12 of chapter 43B of the General Laws, is |
|---|
| 31 | 31 | | 3hereby amended by striking out the words “board of selectmen”, each time they appear, and |
|---|
| 32 | 32 | | 4inserting in place thereof, in each instance, the following words:- select board. |

| 33 | 33 | | 5 SECTION 2. Said charter is hereby further amended by striking out the word |
|---|
| 34 | 34 | | 6“selectmen”, each time it appears, and inserting in place thereof, in each instance, the following |
|---|
| 35 | 35 | | 7words:- members of the select board. |

| 36 | 36 | | 8 SECTION 3. This act shall take effect upon its passage. |
