26 | 26 | | Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority |

27 | 27 | | of the same, as follows: |

28 | 28 | | 1 SECTION 1. Chapter 111 of the Massachusetts General Laws shall be amended by |
---|
29 | 29 | | 2adding at the end thereof, the following section: |
---|
30 | 30 | | 3 Section ##: Notwithstanding any special or general law to the contrary, the Board of |
---|
31 | 31 | | 4Registration in Medicine and the Center for Health Information and Analysis shall collect and |
---|
32 | 32 | | 5make publicly available physician workforce date concerning race, ethnicity, gender identity and |
---|
33 | 33 | | 6sexual identity for the purposes of assessing the impact of physician workforce diversity and |
---|
34 | 34 | | 7health outcomes in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts |
---|
35 | 35 | | 8 Health care facilities licensed under Section 51 of Chapter 111 of the Massachusetts |
---|
36 | 36 | | 9General Laws shall provide to both the Board of Registration in Medicine and the Center for |
---|
37 | 37 | | 10Health Information and Analysis, the following data on a quarterly basis for physicians, medical |
---|
38 | 38 | | 11fellows, interns, and residents: |
