An Act establishing a tax deduction for donations to public colleges and universities.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority
of the same, as follows:
1 Paragraph (a) of part B of section 3 of chapter 62 of the General Laws, as so appearing in
2the 2016 official edition, is amended by inserting after subparagraph (19) the following
3subparagraph:-
4 (20) An amount donated to a public institution of higher education foundation, as defined
5by section 5 of chapter 15A.
