| 27 | 27 | | Whereas, The deferred operation of this act would tend to defeat its purpose, which is to |
|---|
| 28 | 28 | | establish forthwith a sick leave bank for a certain employee of the trial court of the |
|---|
| 29 | 29 | | commonwealth, therefore it is hereby declared to be an emergency law, necessary for the |
|---|
| 30 | 30 | | immediate preservation of the public convenience. |

| 31 | 31 | | Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority |
|---|
| 32 | 32 | | of the same, as follows: |
|---|
| 33 | 33 | | 1 Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, the trial court of the |
|---|
| 34 | 34 | | 2commonwealth shall establish a sick leave bank for Danielle Marie Cruz, an employee of the |
|---|
| 35 | 35 | | 3trial court. Any employee of the trial court may voluntarily contribute 1 or more sick, personal or |
|---|
| 36 | 36 | | 4vacation days to the sick leave bank for use by Danielle Marie Cruz. If Danielle Marie Cruz |
|---|
| 37 | 37 | | 5terminates employment with the trial court or requests to dissolve the sick leave bank, any |
|---|
| 38 | 38 | | 6remaining time in the sick leave bank shall be transferred to the trial court paid leave bank. Sick |
|---|
| 39 | 39 | | 7leave bank days shall not be used for absences unrelated to the illness or disability that |
|---|
| 40 | 40 | | 8necessitated the establishment of the sick leave bank as determined by the trial court. |
