2222 An Act authorizing the continued employment of Jerry Shampang as an environmental police
2323 officer in the executive office of energy and environmental affairs.
2424 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority
2525 of the same, as follows:
2626 1 SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, Jerry
2727 2Shampang, an environmental police officer in the executive office of energy and environmental
2828 3affairs, may continue to serve in that position until he reaches 70 years of age or the date of his
2929 4retirement or non-reappointment, whichever occurs first. No further deductions shall be made
3030 5from the regular compensation of Jerry Shampang under chapter 32 of the General Laws for any
3131 6service performed subsequent to his reaching the age of 65 and, upon retirement, Jerry
3232 7Shampang shall receive a superannuation retirement allowance equal to the allowance to which
3333 8he would have been entitled had he retired upon reaching the age of 65.
3434 9 SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
