28 | 28 | | Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority |

29 | 29 | | of the same, as follows: |

30 | 30 | | 1 Chapter 71 is hereby amended by adding the following new section:- |

31 | 31 | | 2 Section 100. Each school shall conduct a live intruder training session within the first 90 |
---|
32 | 32 | | 3days of the academic year. The superintendent will work with the principal, teachers and school |
---|
33 | 33 | | 4resource officer in each school to schedule and execute said training session. The superintendent, |
---|
34 | 34 | | 5principal and school resource officer may alter each training session to reasonably accommodate |
---|
35 | 35 | | 6the needs of each student. Notice will be provided to each student’s parent or guardian |
---|
36 | 36 | | 7explaining the school’s intention to hold a live intruder training session within the specified time |

37 | 37 | | 8frame. |
