Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows: 1 Notwithstanding any general or special laws to the contrary, motor vehicle insurance 2companies shall have the option of offering insurance discounts to licensed operators of motor 3vehicles who complete a marijuana impairment education course. The course may be offered by 4accredited driving schools and insurance companies, pending approval from the commissioner of 5insurance, and the course curriculum must include a module on the dangers of driving under the 6influence of marijuana.
